ODEON FILM STUDIO
"Tourist” film is produced by the Odeon Film Studio. The studio’s basic area of operations is production and postproduction of advertising films based on its own postproduction resources. Over the 18 years of Odeon’s operations, several thousand such films have been produced. For many years, the studio has also been involved in creating computer animation and special effects as well as the graphics for such feature films as the 2000 “Pół serio” (“Tongue in cheek”), the 2003 “Ciało” (“Body”), the 2007 “Ryś” (“Rick”), “Testosteron” (2007), the 2008 “Nie kłam kochanie” (“Don’t lie darling”), the 2008 “Lejdis” (Ladies), the 2009 “Dom zły” (“Evil house”), and also such television serials as the 2004 “Sublokatorzy” (“Subtenants”), the 2004-06 “Bulionerzy” (“Bullionaires”), “Twarzą w twarz” (“Face to face”) I and II, and the 2008 “Ojciec Mateusz” (“Father Mathias”). Work on Lech Majewski’s 2009 film “Młyn i krzyż” (“The mill and the cross”) proved a serious test of our graphic artists’ capabilities. Several teams from our studio have worked on bringing to life characters and scenes for Peter Bruegel’s “Droga na Kalwarię” (“The road to Calvary”). Odeon is also this film’s co-producer.
